About Us

Mission Statement

To create a welcoming community marketplace that restores essential services, supports local producers, and revitalizes a historic gathering space at the heart of Grafton Center.

Key Goals

  • Provide convenient access to groceries and ready-to-eat meals for local residents.

  • Serve as a destination for visitors and trail users.

  • Support local farms, bakers, and artisans through retail partnerships.

  • Sustain the historic Meetinghouse as an active community asset.

Brand Identity: The Significance of "Dot"

The name "Dot" is central to our brand identity. While the name Dorothy was popular in the 1920s, it has roots in ancient Greek and has been associated with Saint Dorothy, , whose miracle symbolizes abundance in times of scarcity—specifically, apples and roses appearing in the dead of winter. We believe that food is care, access is dignity, and community connection is as essential as the products on our shelves. For a community with limited resources, providing everyday groceries, prepared food, and a welcoming gathering place is a vital service.
